About the event

This evening will still be set up to help showcase fresh products from local farms (within 100 miles) and from our own farm to help support the local food movement. Each dinner is prepared by a professional Chef. We would love to invite you to join our family at our farm for an amazing evening of food, wine, music, supporting local farms, and a beautiful atmosphere to just take a walk and enjoy the scenery.

Our May dinner will feature Chef Jim Tinkham. 

Our menus are planned based off of what is in season, so we try to have our menu completed a few weeks out from the event. We start the evening with appetizers as you arrive. The patio area is open during this time, if weather permits.  We will then move inside to our main hall area for salad, soup, main course and dessert! The dinners are so fresh and delicious! The Chef will also come out and talk about the different courses throughout the evening, and will also demo one part of the evenings courses. This is definitely an experience you  do not want to miss out on!

May Dinner Men:

Upon Arrival: Pickled Fresh Strawberry, Goat Cheese Crostini finished w/ a balsamic vinegar reduction and

Grilled & Chilled veggies w/ an Arugula Hummus

Second Course: Spring Spinach salad accompanied with fresh local strawberries, candies Missouri Pecans, feta cheese, pickled red onions, Bacon & Poppy Seed Dressing

Third Course: Broccoli Cheese Soup with Sour dough bread crouton dust

Main Course: Pan seared & roasted local Airline Supreme Chicken breast with a Sherry wine, Mushroom,  & Lemon Cream Sauce

Chipotle Cheddar Smashed Yukon Gold Potatoes

Maple Glazed Oblique Carrots  & locally farmed  Chefs Roasted Vegetables

Dessert: Locally Grown Strawberries served with Granny Fay's Famous Flakey Crust and Fresh Whipped Cream Topping 

Cost of Event: $74/person + tax + tip (Optional Donation amount to the organization will be separate)  Reservations only. Tickets must be purchased in advance. 

Wine by Aubrey Vineyards. We have a wine tasting option available for $12. (2 oz pour of 5 pairings that Aubrey Vineyards has paired with each course.) Wine by the glass: $7-$10 We also have some local beer options.

Doors open at 6pm. From time of arrival until 6:45pm enjoy appetizers in the courtyard or at your seat. Dinner will start at 7pm.

Must have reservations.  Reservations Due by Wednesday, May 10th! If tickets show they are still available online to purchase, then we still have tickets availalbe. Feel free to check in with us after that time in case we still have seats available! 816-925-0884

IMPORTANT FAQs: Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? No, but ID will be required for purchase of any alcohol.

Will you have any options for vegetarians or vegans? Sorry, this event is not a good choice for vegetarians, vegans, or gluten intolerant individuals.  Since we are not a full service restaurant, this menu is set and we do not have the capacity to make appropriate substitutions to accommodate guests with these dietary restrictions.

Is there a dress code for this event? No, but we do encourage you to dress accordingly if you choose to sit outside in our courtyard area before or after the dinner.
