This evening will still be set up to help showcase fresh products from local farms (within 100 miles) and from our own farm to help support the local food movement. We would love to invite you to join our family at our farm for an amazing evening of food, wine, music, supporting local farms, and a beautiful atmosphere to just take a walk and enjoy the scenery. Our April dinner is just the start of some early spring items coming into season...so we source as much as we can locally, but it is just the beginning of growing season here in Missouri. 

For our April Dinner...we are doing something fun! This dinner will be prepared by your very own owner/operator of The Cider House, Jeanne Middaugh!!! We are so excited to have Jeanne prepare this delicious meal for you! She will be assisted by one of the Chef's, but we thought this would be a fun experience for you to get a taste of Jeanne's hand in the kitchen! You will not be disappointed! If you have ever been to a catered function at The Cider House, you know you will not want to miss out on this! 

If you are coming with a group, we are glad to seat your group together. Mask are welcomed but they are not required. Our past dinners have been sold out, so don't wait to book!!! Spring is a beautiful time to join us on the farm! Enjoy some live music by a local artist, wine tasting with wine from Aubrey Vineyards, and an amazing 5-course dinner.

We are also so excited about the fact that each one of our Farm to Table Dinners we like to partner with an organization to support. This is an optional time of giving or maybe it will spark your interest to serve with this organization in the future.

Our menus are planned based off of what is in season, so we try to have our menu completed a few weeks out from the event. We start the evening with appetizers as you arrive. The patio area is open during this time, if weather permits.  We will then move inside to our main hall area for salad, soup, main course and dessert! The dinners are so fresh and delicious! Jeanne will also come out and talk about the different courses throughout the evening, and will also demo one part of the evenings courses. This is definitely an experience you  do not want to miss out on! 

Our April Menu:

Upon Arrival: Farm Fresh Deviled Eggs prepared with a layer of locally made Bacon Jam, Pickled Asparagus and Candied Bacon. Along with this we will have Cucumber/Hummus Bites topped with Cherry Tomatoes and Crumbled Feta. 

Second Course: Fresh Mixed Greens topped with Candied Pecans, Clementine Oranges, Dried Cranberries, Goat Cheese Crumble and a Homemade Citrus Dressing. 

Third Course: A touch of spring in this Minestrone Soup... Asparagus, Carrots, Chickpeas, Fresh Greens, Potatoes and Garlic all come together to make a delicious and flavorful soup. 

Main Course: Herb Crusted Locally Sourced Pork Loin, Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Spring Radishes and Asparagus, all topped with a Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce. 

Dessert: Our very own Granny Fay's Mixed Berry Pie with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and a sprig of Fresh Mint. 

All of our dinners are served with the famous Cider House Artisan Bread and Whipped Goat Cheese and Honey! 

Cost of Event: $74/person + tax + tip (Optional Donation amount to the organization will be separate)  Reservations only. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Wine by Aubrey Vineyards. We have a wine tasting option available for $12. (2 oz pour of 5 pairings that Aubrey Vineyards has paired with each course.) Wine by the glass: $7-$10 We also have some local beer options.

Doors open at 6pm. From time of arrival until 6:45pm enjoy appetizers in the courtyard or at your seat. Dinner will start at 7pm.

IMPORTANT FAQs: Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? No, but ID will be required for purchase of any alcohol.

Will you have any options for vegetarians or vegans? Sorry, this event is not a good choice for vegetarians, vegans, or gluten intolerant individuals.  Since we are not a full service restaurant, this menu is set and we do not have the capacity to make appropriate substitutions to accommodate guests with these dietary restrictions.

Is there a dress code for this event? No, but we do encourage you to dress accordingly if you choose to sit outside in our courtyard area before or after the dinner.
