Valentine Hand Pies with Jeanne

Who doesn't love pie!!! Join Jeanne Middaugh, owner & creator of Granny Fay's Pie Shop! Since pies are our business, we will not be giving out our specific recipes...but you will learn the key factors to making Valentine Hand Pies!  You will be rolling out your own crust. You will learn how to make a double-crusted fruit pie & other pie tips...and you will be making 5 Valentine Hand Pies! 4 to take home that you can either freeze and bake a few days closer to Valentines or you can bake them right away! 

Jeanne is also known for her homemade potato soup! You will get to enjoy that with some of her fresh artisan bread!!! But to finish the evening off...you will get to enjoy one of your hand pies that you make that evening!!

Our classes  are very interactive and you are able to ask questions throughout the class!

To maximize our space, tables do seat 4, so you may be seated with another party. If you have another party you'd like to sit with, please let us know. You can email jeanne@theciderhouseevents.com or call 816-925-0884.

Our farm shop (Granny Fay's Shop) will be open from 6-6:30pm if you'd like to come a little early. We start seating for the class at 6:15pm and the class starts at 6:30pm. Our classes are held in our kitchen in our Airbnb, Creekside Farmhouse. When you arrive, you can park in the main parking lot. Granny Fay's Shop is located in the red building on the east side of The Cider House. Our Airbnb, Creekside Farmhouse & Kitchen is located on the west side of The Cider House. We will have signs to lead you.

Cost of Event: $55/person + tax (tip)

Tea and Water will come with the dinner.

We will have wine and beer available for purchase.

Doors open at 6:15pm. Must have reservations. Reservations Due by Sunday, Feb. 5th! Feel free to check in with us after that time in case we still have seats available! 816-925-0884

If you are coming from I-49 direction, we would suggest that you put Upcycled Orchard into your GPS. Turn like you are going right to the orchard shop...but you will drive right by it and take your next driveway to the right where the signs are for The Cider House. This is just our back entrance and a little easier than doing the turnaround on the highway for our front entrance, but either way will get you here! If you are coming from Clinton/Garden City, you will turn right into our driveway off of 7 Hwy.

Our tickets are non-refundable after a week prior to the event.

**There is a minimum number to be able to have the class. If for some reason we do not meet this number, we will either credit you for another dinner or refund your ticket.
