We are so excited about this NEW adventure with you! 

What does Alfresco mean, you might ask? alfresco \al-FRESS-koh\ adjective or adverb. : taking place or located in the open air : outdoor, outdoors. We are taking our dinner outside! We have 4 Alfresco Farm to Table Dinners Scheduled. Each one will have a different feel and take place at different locations around our farm. These dinners will be setup family style, so you will be seated next to other guest. They are meant to be communal and enjoy talking with one another, hearing each others stories. Seating will be much more limited for these dinners with crowd sizes maxing at 30-35, depending on the dinner. 

These dinners will also have some fun outdoor cooking experiences. You might even get to join in! 

Yes, weather could be an issue. Our goal is to have this dinner outside, but sometimes the weather does not always cooperate. If weather is an issue, the dinner will still happen, we will just move it inside and try to give as much of the experience as we have planned  for that evening. Our calendar is just too full to try and reschedule.

When booking...make sure you consider what might come along with being outside. There might be bugs, it could be cool, it could be warm, you may have to walk across some gravel or through the grass...but we are praying for PERFECT!!! Why not! 

Since this is our first season...there may be changes along the way, but we are so excited to experience this with you! These dinners will still be Farm to Table, so the menu will be based on what's in season and source as much as we can locally! Here are the "planned" 4 dinners. 

April 20th - Dinner in the Courtyard.

July 20th - Dinner by our Firepit/Picnic Area

August 17th - Dinner in the Orchard

November 16th - Dinner by the Firepit Dutch Oven Style

Our menu will be set about 3 weeks prior to the dinner.  Chef Jim Tinkham will be your chef for this evening. 

Cost of Event: $120/person + tax (Tip not included)

Wine by Aubrey Vineyards. We have a wine tasting option available for $12. (2 oz pour of 5 pairings that Aubrey Vineyards has paired with each course.) Wine by the glass: $8-$12  We also have some local beer options.

There will also be a specialty seasonal drink available this evening!

You can arrive at 6pm or after. Appetizers, visiting, and drinks available upon arrival until 6:45. We will then get started on the remaining dinner experience. 

Must have reservations.  Our dinners do sell out, so we encourge you not to wait too long to book. If tickets are still available online, then we still have seats available. If they aren’t, feel free to contact us in case we are able to still add to your party. Please call 816-925-0884 if you have any questions. 

GIFT CARDS - If you have a gift card, you will have to call us directly to reserve your space and apply your gift card over the phone. We are hoping to integrate everything together soon!

IMPORTANT FAQs: 

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? No, but ID will be required for purchase of any alcohol.  What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from this event? Parking is on site

What is the refund policy? No refunds.

Will you have any options for vegetarians or vegans? Sorry, this event is not a good choice for vegetarians, vegans, or gluten intolerant individuals. Since we are not a full service restaurant, this menu is set and we do not have the capacity to make appropriate substitutions to accommodate guests with these dietary restrictions.  If we are able to leave something off your plate or off the top of a specific dish, we are glad to help all that we can!!! 

Is there a dress code for this event? Business Casual/Date Night is a good way to state it. We do encourage you to dress accordingly for these events since they will be outside. We will have bug spray available, just in case it is needed. 

Restrooms - For our Alfresco Dinners, we will still be using our indoor restrooms. For our dinners located at the fire pit, there is a little bit of a walk back to the main hall. Our dinner in the orchard, we will also have an indoor restroom at our orchard building.
